STORY
THIS STOOL ROCKS
This Stool Rocks started as a normal stool. When the first prototype was delivered, I leaned forward to grab my laptop, triggering many memories of being told not to lean forward on chairs at the dinner table. That of course wouldn't be true if the stool/chair was designed to lean forward. A couple of prototypes later, I was rocking back and forward testing different curvatures that are now called Hard Rock, Soft Rock and Easy Rock.
This Stool Rocks was launched successfully on Kickstarter in March/April 2013 as the first Fabsie product to be released into the wild. The stools were met with postive tweets and instagrams as new owners received them and several backers asked where their friends could get their own rocking stool. OPTIONS
HARD ROCK
360° rocking and often compared with a medicine ball, this stool improves posture but doesn't stand by itself.
SOFT ROCK
Combination of Hard Rock and Soft Rock, this stool rocks back and forth remaining upright by itself.
EASY ROCK
Most stable of the three, this stool is restricted to rocking forward only.
